Project Overview
As the saying goes, first impressions matter—and the car park is the very first thing people see when they arrive. Over time, the elements had taken their toll, so I decided it was time to get stuck in and give the space a proper refresh.
It was a brilliant opportunity to roll up my sleeves and put in some hard graft. The transformation came down to three main jobs:
Tackling the weeds: First things first, I cleared away all the stubborn overgrowth that had crept in, instantly lifting the look of the area.
Levelling the gravel: Next up was the heavy lifting—raking and smoothing out the uneven ground to get rid of the dips and ensure a completely flat, seamless surface for drivers.
Redefining the kerb edge: Finally, I cut back the borders and reinstated those sharp, crisp lines along the kerbs to give the entire space a smart, professional frame.
It is incredibly satisfying to look at the finished result. With the weeds gone and the gravel perfectly levelled, the whole area looks clean, sharp, and ready to welcome everyone back.
